According to a recent report, Apple is anticipated to unveil the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro later this year, with the inclusion of capacitive buttons being rumored for the first time in these models.

Although the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro have only been on the market since September 2023, anticipation is already building for their successors, expected to be released this fall. If Apple adheres to its typical release schedule, we can anticipate the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro hitting the shelves in September, leaving us with just a few months to wait. As details begin to surface, potential buyers are eager to learn more about the features and improvements that these new iPhones may offer.

A recent report from Economic Daily News reveals that Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE) has secured an order to supply system-in-package (SIP) components for integration with new Taptic Engines on the upcoming iPhones. Taptic Engines, Apple's vibration motors, are expected to feature two additional motors in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro. These new Taptic Engines will purportedly be positioned at the edges of the iPhones, one on each side. This development is speculated to coincide with Apple's introduction of capacitive buttons to the iPhone.
